The UAE celebrates Emirati Children’s Day on every year. The special day coincides with the launch of the Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 Concerning Child Rights also known as Wadeema’s Law (PDF, 100 KB) on 15 March 2016. Emirati Children’s Day aims to raise awareness on children’s rights and welfare among the general public, so that, children get a healthy, safe and supportive environment for their development.
