English at SRS
Finding Voice, Exploring Worlds
At the School of Research Science, English is a journey of self-discovery, empathy, and communication. Through exposure to both classical and contemporary literature, students are encouraged to connect personal experience with the wider world, while building the language skills needed to thrive in life.
Preparing Students for Life
Our English curriculum develops critical readers, confident writers, and articulate speakers. From EYFS to Key Stage 5, students explore diverse texts, build moral understanding rooted in our Islamic values, and learn to interpret, evaluate, and express ideas with clarity and depth. Whether they are writing creatively or analysing powerful texts, students grow into independent, curious, and thoughtful individuals.
